Imogen Morris

Updated: Jun 8, 2021

Imogen graduated from Kingston University in Fine Art in 2013, & after taking a few years out to focus on working with young people, has recently returned to exploring her art practice.

Imogen is influenced by the traditional craft of hand-embroidery but her style of work puts a contemporary spin on threadwork.

Imogen uses thread to create a mesh-like form out of triangles to build up her subjects' features & create depth to the image. Imogen creates a range of work from portraits, landscapes, animals and nature.

Imogen will be featuring in our Midlands Maker Spotlight for Yarn + Stitch magazine if our Kickstarter campaign is successful.
