What is Yarningham?
Yarningham is a festival founded by members of Stitches & Hos. Yarningham looks, sees and does a yarn festival differently. As the only Black led yarn festival in the UK we are unique.
Team Yarningham is Sara Fowles, Helen Winnicott, Venetia Headlam and Lilith Winnicott.
Usually an in-person festival at The Uffculme Centre, in 2021 we are producing our first ever Yarningham Online Festival.
With free access to our exclusive marketplace, an online bingo event hosted by Stephen West and live Q&A sessions with our talented exhibitors and a few surprises.
What's the deal with the bingo event?
We will be hosting this classic game as part of our Yarningham Online weekend.
Join us via a live stream on
Zoom and play from the comfort of your sofa. Expect woolly number calls from our very special Bingo Caller
Stephen West and lots of fabulous prizes to be won.
Your ticket includes 2 bingo cards to play. Tickets cost £10 each. All proceeds from the night will be donated to RSVP.
The event takes place on Saturday 10th July 6-8pm (BST).

What is Yarn + Stitch?
Yarn + Stitch will be a one off print magazine produced to celebrate Yarningham Online Festival 2021. The magazine will feature contemporary knitting & crochet patterns in beautiful yarns, exclusive articles, Midlands maker spotlights and festival mascots Boris & Donald the alpacas in their debut comic strip adventure.
We have started a
Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds needed to produce the magazine and to ensure that everyone involved is paid fairly for their work. And we need your help to reach our target.

When is Yarningham?
Yarningham Online marketplace will be open from 11am Saturday 10th July until midnight Sunday 11th July.
There will be a shop preview for you to have a sneak peak on the offerings on Friday 9th July from midday onwards, where you can browse but not buy just yet!
What's the product shipping info?
Merchandise sales will be sent throughout the UK via Royal Mail 2nd class signed. There is a flat rate of £4.50 for hipping.
Please remember that you must check out from each exhibitor separately.
Sellers are unable to ship to countries in the EU at the present time, as anything sent would be with duties unpaid, which could incur large fees on entry to the EU destination country. If anyone from an EU country is desperate to order a particular item, please contact the exhibitor directly via their website or etsy shop.
If you order merchandise for delivery outside the UK items may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information.
How do I pay for my items?
Wix Payments to collect and process all online transactions. Card details are entered on a secure page. No personal detail will be passed on to third parties.
The customer accepts full responsibility for all contact information on their customer account and must ensure it is updated when necessary. Yarningham accepts no responsibility for information not received by the customer due to out of date contact information.
Can I get a product refund?
Sellers can not accept refunds unless the item is faulty. If an item is faulty please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange return.
All yarns are hand dyed in small batches and variations may occur from skein to skein. Please purchase enough to complete your project in one transaction to minimise noticeable variation in dyelots.
Please be aware that colours do vary from one computer, tablet or phone screen to another.
