Plan Your Visit - Public Transport

How to get to Yarningham on public transport.

Venue address:

Uffculme Centre

Queensbridge Road

Moseley

B13 8QY

The nearest stations to the Uffculme Centre are Birmingham New Street (BHM) and Birmingham Moor Street (BMO).

Uffculme is approximately 3 miles from Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Moor Street.

You can take a taxi from any of the taxi ranks outside the respective stations, which will cost approx. £7 - 15, depending on which type of cab you take. Alternatively, you can catch the number 50 bus (instructions below).

This will take you under a road tunnel (circled in red) (img 3)

The number 50 bus stop is located next to the Selfridges building (blue with silver discs)(img 4)

If you are arriving at Moor Street Station, exit the station and turn left. You will see the Selfridges building (blue with silver discs) opposite. The bus stop is just over the road in front of Selfridges. (img 5)

Number 50 bus stop

Bus fare is £2.40 per single journey (or £4 for a day ticket). If you pay via contactless, it will cost you no more than £4, even if you travel multiple times that day. If you pay with cash, you will need the exact change. If there are between 2 and 5 of you travelling together, you can buy a group ticket for £7, which can be used all day. All tickets can also be purchased on the free app 'NXBus mTickets'.

The 50 bus runs approx, every 5-6 minutes on a Saturday and every 10 minutes on a Sunday.

You can also catch the 50 run by Diamond buses (dark blue single decker) which give change on board.

If you catch the Network West Midlands number 50 bus, they announce the next stop by name. The stop you are looking for is Station Road.

If you are on a different bus with no announcements, look out for the orange and blue building on the right (img 6).

Your bus stop will be just before this on the opposite side of the road (circled in red)

Now you're off the bus, you need to cross the road - there is a crossing a few metres back the way you came. (img 7)

Direction walking from To Yarningham!

Once across the road, on your left will be the entrance to Highbury Park (sign is circled in red, img 8) and on the right is Queensbridge Road. All you need to do now is walk along Queensbridge Road until you see the venue.
